1. Make an Account, if you don't already have one.
  2. Make an App. The minimum needed is name, link, and redirect uri. Link should point to the sponsor site and redirect uri, can be the same as the link. These should be the server where the app is hosted or http://localhost for testing. This step will provide an application id (appId) that is used to initalize the various software development kits.

Upload and Publishing

Y8 provides long term storage at upload.y8.com. You may also access the upload on the submission page at static.y8.com/upload.

Getting Listed

Once your game is testable, it must be submitted for review. Apps that use the APIs will need an application made as noted above. To request a review, visit the application page, click the Request Review button. Then allow up to 48 hours for our team to test.

Typically, partnered games take 4 or 5 days. Public submissions will take longer.

Encryption is now expected. Visit Let’s Encrypt for a free certificate. The certbot tool comes with predefined methods for several web servers.
