Create a Game

Games are created under your studio in the Y8 Developer Portal, from the My Games section.

Creating a game asks only for its Game Name. That creates the game record and its Game ID; the App ID is issued when you first open the new game's page. Do this before you start integrating — the SDK cannot be initialized without them.

If the App ID shows Not yet available, it could not be issued just then; reload the page to try again. The initialization snippet, the Leaderboard and Achievements tabs and development origins all wait for it.

You do not need a finished game, or any build at all, to create the record and start working against the SDK locally.
